Give Eden Hazard more recognition, says Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho

Eden Hazard - Give Eden Hazard more recognition, says Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho
Jose Mourinho was a perplexed man. On Saturday afternoon he had just seen his side rise to the top of the Premier League with as comprehensive a win as can be imagined against a limited, injury-ravaged Newcastle side
. He had witnessed, moreover, a three-goal, match-winning performance by Eden Hazard which had everyone, from the Chelsea faithful to the opposition manager, astonished at its virtuosity. And yet Hazard, he suggested, has yet to receive proper recognition for such achievement.
“Maybe with the hat-trick he has the chance to win one day [to be awarded] the [Barclays Premier League] player of the month,” said Mourinho. “Because he never gets that. I would like my guy to win it once, so please do something. Help me.”
Never mind the monthly award, at the moment, Luis Suárez notwithstanding, there can be few more pressing candidates for the player of the season. Mourinho may be a manager for whom the team ethic is paramount, but currently he is blessed with the most electrifying individual in the country.
“I think a team is made of 11 guys, but obviously he is special,” said the manager of Hazard. “I think in this moment he’s the best young player in the world.”
Indeed, as little horses go, the player Mourinho insists on calling “The Kid” is way ahead of the field. Just turned 23, with a wife and children, it is perhaps an unexpected nickname for the Belgian.
